In view of the growing importance of the environmental control industry, the ACTOM Group has decided to merge two of its businesses which provide air pollution control and environmental solutions.
These are ACTOM Air Pollution Control and John Thompson – Boiler and Environmental Solutions. Whilst ACTOM Air Pollution Control’s focus has been on Industry, Mining and Minerals, John Thompson has concentrated on Power Generation and are specialists in boilers and environmental solutions.
In view of the many synergies that exist between the two businesses, the Group has decided to merge these interests under the John Thompson umbrella. This mutually beneficial move will combine the respective strengths and resources of both, the benefits of which will be passed on to our customers.
With effect from 1 November 2014, Air Pollution Control will become a business unit of John Thompson, the Power Division of ACTOM (Pty) Ltd.
As this is an organisational change only, Air Pollution Control will remain at our Cresta premises for the foreseeable future and our contact details remain unchanged.
