One of the biggest energy conferences and exhibitions – or one that is growing fast in impetus – is the much anticipated Africa Energy Indaba. It is currently being held (19 to 21 February) at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
Like most conferences, this event allows top business decision makers, government officials and independent power producers and other energy suppliers to strategise and discuss plans to find solutions to the myriad challenges that face the various energy sub-sectors. It has kept in mind the need for sustainability and cleaner energy and providing people with skills to operate in these sectors. Solutions that need to be found which are sustainable has also attracted interested investors at the Indaba.
