These prestigious awards, based on growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan’s rigorous TEAM Research™ methodology, highlight the achievements of African companies delivering excellence and best practices in their respective industries.
Awardees were lauded for exceptional growth and market strategies, product development abilities, competitive advancement skills, technology innovation, entrepreneurship, as well as dedicated customer focus.
Speaking at the evening’s proceedings, Hendrik Malan, operations director for Africa at Frost & Sullivan, explained: “Our long-established awards programme recognises companies demonstrating a unique approach to doing business in their markets. Frost & Sullivan celebrates these ideas and strategies driving corporate growth."

The nine awardees were drawn from diverse sectors including information and communication technology (ICT), healthcare, energy and power supplies, industrial automation and process control, and chemicals, materials and foods.
The ICT sector was strongly represented with Neotel, Business Connexion, Vodacom South Africa and 1stream, among the awardees.
